Turkish Delight
“It is dull, Son of Adam, to drink without eating,” said the Queen presently. “What would you like best to eat?”
“Turkish Delight, please, your Majesty,” said Edmund.
It dawned on me this evening, out of the blue really, that I’ve never had Turkish Delight. As a lover of food, The Chronicles of Narnia, and even a funky 1970’s song about Edmund’s Turkish Delight temptation, it seems silly that I’ve never had it.
I need to track down some authentic (just not enchanted) Turkish Delight.
