Bang!
I’m currently reading I Don’t Have Enough Faith to Be an Atheist by Norman Geisler and Frank Turek.
The last chapter that I read was peppered with quotes from Dr. Robert Jastrow, a man with impeccable credentials in the scientific community and a self-proclaimed agnostic. I got a kick out of the following quote taken from Dr. Jastrow’s book God and the Astronauts:
For the scientist who has lived by his faith in the power of reason, the story ends like a bad dream. He has scaled the mountain of ignorance; he is about to conquer the highest peak; as he pulls himself over the final rock, he is greeted by a band of theologians who have been sitting there for centuries.
